Camping Critters

Boston & Brooklyn love camping in the mountains! When we arrive at the campsite we have a bit of a routine- Dad & Mom set up the tent while the kiddos gather up a little bit of firewood. They are so proud of themselves and the fact that they are 'helping'


Sometimes when Mom & Dad aren't looking, the kiddos will find a treat to sneak away. Dad caught Brooklyn sitting in the middle of a trail eating a bag of chips - she was a little upset when he brought the bag back to the cooler :)

Once the tent is up, the kiddos will make themselves at home! All the toys and blankets cover the tent floor. They both love to run around and pretend they're in a magical place inside the tent!

On our most recent camping trip Daddy got hurt gathering some firewood. A tree split in half and the bottom half swung back and knocked Dad right in the eye. Luckily he wasn't too badly hurt... the kiddos were glad we didn't have to go home that night :)
